Today's Make Up: Pink Sweetness

Saturday greetings all! Hope you are all having one fabulous Saturday. I cannot complain about mine, tummy is full from the goodness of dim sum.. Mmhmm... yummy.

But we're barely getting started. Yep, being Asian, this is no where near the end. LOL. Today is one of my uncle's birthday so we are celebrating it in the most Asian way possible. With food... lots and lots of food. Mmmhmm, yum! We probably have enough to feed a whole country. Haha. I should be helping but I snuck away to post this. A blogger's gotta do what a blogger's gotta do to post daily. LOL. Cause I love sharing with y'all, it's my joy. :P

On the face today, mostly shades of pink for a sweet, natural look. It is truly a struggle when I attend these family gatherings, my makeup becomes severely restricted. It's alright, light and natural is good too!!

Since I'll be having my makeup on for the majority of the day, I chose a BB Cream that is  hydrating on my skin yet have a medium-ish coverage. That's why I love this Holika Holika BB Cream so much! I can always rely on it for situations like this. 

I am glad I was able to snatch this limited edition blush while it was around. The blush looks absolutely gorgeous from the pan, but not as intense when applied. Which can or cannot be a good thing. This is a beautiful shade, and I get probably half of its intensity on my cheek; it compliments my skin tone very well. On my skin tone, it gives me a winterize flush blushing type look.

On my eyes, I am using this faint lavender shade all over my lids. It looks beige but it goes on lavendery. Just a few sweep to brighten up my eyes.  Then I use the caramel brown on my crease to warm it up a bit before thinly lining my eyes. Nothing too fancy schmancy .

The lips is like the cheery on top, it pulls the whole look together. Lip tint and gloss is the way to go, no doubt about that. I am using a pink tint, topped off with a pinkish-lilac gloss.

And that's it for today's make up. I'm gonna run back to help now. Ya think they noticed I was gone for half an hour? LOL.
