Hi guys! Welcome back to another Sunday Mask recipe!

Since it already seems like Summer here in Arizona, my skin has become very oilyOily skin equals clogged pores which leads to pimples and an eruption of acne. Although I am quite lazy, I do try to do masks, sheet masks, scrubs and go the extra mile to keep my skin clean and clear.

Wearing and applying make up is one of my favorite things to do. I can express myself through make up and it's actually very therapeutic for me. I love that half hour/hour I have every morning to get ready. However, I use make up to enhance beauty, not to conceal or believe that only women who wear make up is beautiful. I think everyone is beautiful in their own way, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. You might be Aphrodite to one person and another might see you as Medusa; you cannot please everyone. As long as you, yourself is happy with yourself, that's all that matters.

With that said, whenever I have an acne explosion due to poor dietstress, you know, all of that. I don't quickly go paint my face in heavy, heavy make up to conceal. In contrary, during times like that, I wear very light face make up if any. Instead, I reflect on what I am doing wrong, about what I'm ingestingwhy I'm stressing and I go on from there. If I'm stress, I do something to relieve stress, or if it was bad foods I've been putting into my body, I will be more conscious with my diet and be sure to exercise regularly.

That brings me back to masks and facials. I take time, several times a week15 minutes to half an hour, to pamper myself. I'll just put on a good soothing masklay downturn on music and open up a good book. I try to stay away from electronics because I also want to rest my eyes for a bit. We live in the 21st century, we probably stare into electronics screens more than we see people, t.v. to the computer onto the iPad, hop onto the laptop, going to bed with phone in hand. I know I'm guilty of that...so I try to stay away from them whenever I can.

So for today's mask recipe, it's something very simple yet helpful. Like I mentioned earlier, my skin has become a lot oilier since Arizona's temp has been on the rise. I start pulling out masks recipes that help me control my oily condition. Of course it doesn't completely rids it, just helps out.

Today's main recipetomato.

Yep, plain and simple, just a tomato. Tomatoes are rich in vitamin C (double the regular amount), vitamin A and antioxidant. Tomatoes have natural oil-absorbing acids in them, that's how applying it to my face helps take out excess oil. It also has astringent properties, which means that it is able to minimize pores/shrink large pores

What you'll need:
- One medium size ripe tomato

What to do:
- Wash thoroughly
- Cut into halves or chunks
- Use spoon or hands to mash

How to use it:
- Apply mash pulp directly to the face
- Allow the tomato to soak for at least 15 minutes
- Rinse off with cool water
- Pat to dry

There's also a mask recipe too, three tablespoons of tomato juice and one tablespoon of honeyMix well and apply, let set for at least 15 minutes. It is also quite easy.

And there ya go. A quick and extremely easy mask "recipe" today. :P Take a little time to pamper yourself today, another week needs to be conquered tomorrow.

Thank you for visiting and thanks for reading all. Come back tomorrow for another Manicure Monday! Byeeee. :)
