What's In My To-Go Make Up Bag

Helllllo Saturday all! Hoping all is well. I am suppper tired from last night, we got in really late and I became a living feast for bugs... but it was still fun! I'm just all puffed up today from all the bug bites. :|

So today, I want to share with you all my to-go make up bag and the contents inside. It's a really compact bag with things I carry for emergency or touch ups that I transfer along with my wallet and shades to whichever bag I'm carrying.

So for beauty, I carry a spare EOS lip balm with me in case my lips needs it, which is quite often especially when I'm wearing a long wearing lipstick. Which reminds me, has people ever asked you guys if you have any lip balms on you they can "borrow"/use? That's actually happened to me quite a few times and everytime I'm like....no... I'm sorry, but that's gross!

Second, I also have a handy black eyeliner pencil in case I need to touch up. I prefer a retractable one because I feel that it's more travel friendly, no need for sharpeners, just twist up twist down. This eyeliner also glides on smoothly with ease, so I don't need to dig at my eyes for the color to show up.

This is probably the most must have item from my bag. After a long day, sometimes my eye makeup gets smeared or gets a bit messy, I'll just go in with this super handy pen and erase the smears without ruining my makeup.

For anyone with oily skin like myself, you'd understand how much of a pain and unattractive a face full of oil is. Blotting sheets are my besties for life! I actually like the blotting sheets from Clean & Clear, NYX and Palladio a lot, but these ELF works almost as great for only a dollar. And I go through these sheets like nothing, so a dollar is a pretty good deal.

A makeup bag is never complete without a compact mirror, in my case, I have a handy brush attached to it also. It's one of those bend in, bend out brush. Mine, of course is pink and Hello Kitty... cause why not. :P I got mine at Target's Dollar Section.

The things I currently wear that day like lipsticks or lip stains, I will also put in the bag. I would take it out when I come home because I dislike a cluttered bag.

For hygienic items, I have a hand sanitizer that smells suuuuuuper amazing from Bath and Body Works. These are, I believe, less than a dollar. It's also nice to keep these hand sanitizer around, especially on the go because you have NOOOOOOO idea what you'll encounter while out. A restroom isn't always available sooo... Since it's a must to carry them around, why not glam it up a bit and have awesome scents.

This is not pictured because I didn't wanna take pictures of tampons. But yeah, I'm sure we all know what tampons are for...so I'll leave it at that.

A couple of bobby pins doesn't take up any room but at times, these little guys are life savers! So are extra hair ties, which are not pictured also because the one I had in there snapped and I forgot to put another one in. These hair tools are a must have for us long-haired people.

Lastly, I have a few Ricola cough drops in my bag. Handy for when I'm sick or anyone around me coughing up a storm. It's also very handy after a meal and I have no gum or mint handy.

About the bag itself, I got this as my February iPsy bag. It is pink and white. The exterior is a nylon-like fabric that is somewhat water-resistant. When I say water resistance, I mean minor water droplets or accidental spill not soaking it in the pool or whatever. The inside lining is a cute leopard print of pink and white.
