Facial Friday: Warm Cinnamon Mask

honey cinnamon nutmeg
Hello Friday all and happy weekend!! I hope you are all ready to just kick back and relax. D-6 until Christmas. Who else is excited?! :P
Woke up suuuuuper earlier today because I had a dentist appointment early this morning; nothing too special, just my biannual teeth cleaning appointment. Teeth are cleaned and polished. Rawr! Haha. What a chilly day it is in AZ though, which made getting up this morning 10X worst. When I finally got home, I made myself a nice bowl of hot instant noodle but I was still cold ya know?
Well... I will be home for the rest of the night so I can just take off my makeup and kick start my weekend already. Maybe whip up a mask to pamper my skin too. Haha. And what better recipe for Fall than a Cinnamon, Nutmeg mask?  Gosh, I love me the smell of cinnamon. Love, love, loooove the Fall because it's all about the spices. I decided to give this already awesome recipe a tad more oomph by popping it into the microwave to warm it up. Because ya know.. a mug of hot cocoa and candles aren't enough to warm my soul. Haha.
Okay guys, go to your pantry and grab out these three products that nearly everyone should have. This is a super affordable mask with each ingredients no more than $2. Let's get our mask on!
CINNAMON MASK
What you’ll need:
- 2 Tablespoon Honey
- 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 Teaspoon Nutmeg

What to do:
- Mix and mix and mix the 3 ingredients up really well into a thick paste.
- Pop the bowl into into the microwave for about 20 seconds to warm it up. Make sure that the mask isn't too hot before applying. Apply a small amount onto the back of your hands to determine if it is at a comfortable level for you.
How to use it:
- Apply the paste all over your freshly cleansed face.
- Allow it to sit for 30 minutes.
- Massage the grits in circular motion as a form of exfoliation.
- Rinse in warm water.
* This recipe yields one mask.
Ahhhhh….face feels amazing afterward. This is a serious a definite must try recipe, of all the recipes. After rinsing the the mask off, you can definitely feel the difference it made. For me, I am slightly less swollen, my skin is softer and firmer, it almost has a bounce to it.
Go ahead and give it a try, and if you do, please do let me know how it went for you. You won't regret whipping up this recipe. LOL. It's simply too delicious to refuse.
Thank you for visiting and thanks for reading. Enjoy the rest of your Friday now. Please do come back soon!! :)
