Manicure Monday: "Mr. Right Now" is "A True Romantic" detailed

Hello everyone and I wish you all a great Tuesday. Hope that all is going well for you all as well. Only the best wishes for my readers.
So yesterday I finally uploaded the post that I was asked to do a month ago. I am behind on a lot of materials, and I know excuses aren't going to make any difference but I promise you, once this dark time is over, I will be back with 200% effort and 300% dedication.
If any of you somehow missed it, I did a guide on how to Winterize your nails yesterday. My 6 step guide on how to keep our nails clean and healthy over the long, dreary Winter months.
Today, however, I will go into details about this week's manicure using Sephora by OPI and Julep Nail Colors.
How To Winterize Your Nails
Sephora by OPI Nail Color in A True Romantic
Sephora by OPI Nail Color in Mr. Right Now
Julep Color Treat Nail Color in Love – Bombshell
Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Smooth & Strong Base Coat
Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat
This base coat has been a favorite for the longest of times but as y'all know, I did not pick this up the last time and instead tried out the Diamond Strength Diamond Shine base and top coat. I didn't prefer that at all, that's why as soon as that ran out, I ran out to Walmart and repurchased this favorite. I prefer a base coat alone, and not one of those base and top coat because those tend to be thicker and thicker means harder to apply.
Mr. Right Now and Love - Bombshell were applied with two thin coats while A True Romantic required three, two thick, one thin. I wouldn't say require but it was still somewhat sheer with just two coats so it depends on your preferences I guess.
These sheer nail colors tend to dry slower than those creamy and glittery ones. While Mr. Right Now took less than 10 minutes to dry the two coats, A True Romantic took about half an hour before I can freely move my fingers. Even then, the manicure is still a bit gel like to the touch so still do be careful.
I usually do not apply a top coat because the nail colors I use are capable of staying on for a week and still looks great. However, for the sake of the post, I did apply a top coat this time around. The top coat I used is Seche Vite, the most necessary top coat any nail enthusiast will need! This baby dries SUPER duper quickly and does wonder to protect the nail color throughout the week.
And that is it for this week's manicure. If there is anything at all y'all want to know, please feel free to leave me a comment. So I'm interested to know, what do you have on your nails this week? Is it fun and cute? Or sexy and elaborate? Please do share, I am always excited to receive comments from y'all.
Thank you for visiting the blog and thanks for reading y'all. Enjoy the rest of your night now. Please come back soon. :)
