Today's Make Up: Water Park Fun Part 2

Well hello, hello all! It is Thursday once again. So who's excited for the weekend?! *raises both hand* ME!

The kid cousins had such a great time at the water park yesterday that they begged me to take them back today. Of course it was an automatic yes, anything of them. :) And so that is how I spent yet another day.

Like yesterday, what I have on my face today is 95% protection and 5% glamour, if even that...

Today's Make Up: Water Park Fun Part 2

FACE
Hang Ten Classic Sport with SPF 50
IPKN NY Hydro & Pore BB with SPF 35
NYX Stick Blush in Tulip

EYES
Maybelline 24 HR Color Tattoo in Inked In Pink
BH Cosmetics Waterproof Eye Crayon in Shadow

LIPS
Benefit Lollitint
Chap Stick Ultra with SPF 30

Like yesterday, I mixed Hang Ten sunscreen and a hydrating BB Cream together and used it as a tinted sunscreen. Instead of using Benetint, I used a stick blush today. I applied the blush on my finger tips and then onto the apples of my cheeks in a patting motion.

I applied Inked In Pink all over my lids using my fingers. I used Shady Shores yesterday, which was a subtle gold; Inked In Pink is a subtle pink that will glow in all the right places when caught by the light. Just a little something to lift up my eyes. Then I used Shadow to lined my eyes again. It stayed on fine yesterday, just remember not to rub on it.

I swapped Benetint for Lollitint today because I am in a pink mood. Same as yesterday, Lollitint to give my lips some color that will last all day while Chap Stick Ultra will protect my lips with its SPF 30.

Reapplying of the sunscreen and chap stick is key. My skin has been exposed all day yesterday so it is more tender and easily burned today. You better believe sunscreen and shade was my best friend today.

I am off to dip myself in a tub full of aloe vera gels. No really though, I will be a slimy, slime mess for the rest of the day, apply, reapply, apply, it just won't end. My skin need its hydration back.

Thank you for joining me again guys and thank you for reading. Do come back soon! :)

Today's Make Up: Water Park Fun

Hello Hump Day all! After getting through the hump today, we will finally see the weekend. How fast was that?

Since this is the last week of Summer Vacay for my kid cousins, I decided to take them out to the water park today. Yes, there's a pool at home but nothing beats the water park, it's just 10x better! So that's how I spent my day, at the water park, in the sun...yeah... A skin repairing session will be a MUST!

FACE
Hang Ten Classic Sport with SPF 50
IPKN NY Hydro & Pore BB with SPF 35
Benefit Benetint

EYES
Maybelline 24 HR Color Tattoo in Shady Shores
BH Cosmetics Waterproof Eye Crayon in Shadow

LIPS
Benefit Benetint
Chap Stick Ultra with SPF 30

I skipped on moisturizer and instead used a hydrating sunscreen mixed with a hydrating BB Cream as a tinted moisturizer, sunscreen duo. I wanted to even out my skin tone but not necessarily conceal everything. The DIY tinted sunscreen will protect my skin all the while provide with light coverage. To bring my face back to life, I applied a little Benetint on the apples of my cheeks.

I applied Shady Shores all over my eyelids with a clean finger. This shade is light enough to be natural but pigmented enough to give a shimmer and glow. I wanted some colors, but not bright and vibrant in your face color. I used a Waterproof Eye Crayon to line my eyes. This will stay on for a good while if you do not rub on it.

I also used Benetint for my lips as well. Just a little something, something to give my lips color that will also stay on all day. Whenever I go swimming or spend the day outside, Chap Stick Ultra is my go to lip balm. Once applied, it will not budge at all, ever with water. But still, I reapplied every now and then just to be on the safe side.

Throughout the day, I did not forget to reapply sunscreen to my face and body. Always remember to reapply guys! Just a simple step to prevent skin cancer.

Now comes the fun part! I get to apply the hydrating mask  to cool things off. I bet'chu I'll probably hear a sizzling sound as soon as I apply the mask to my face, similar to a frying bacon.

All in all, it was a fun day! I miss those kids so much... although we see each other every weekend but still. They had fun and I had fun with them so it was all worth it. But at 24, I should take more drastic steps to help heal my skin and get it back to its healthiest state.

Hope y'all had a great day. Just a couple more days guys, we can do it!

Thank you for visiting and thanks for reading. Please come back soon! :)

Today's Make Up: Day At The Lake

HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SUMMER!!

Hello everyone and happy weekend! How are you spending your weekend? I was out at the lake all morning. We had a family gathering there, went boating and had a BBQ. My skin is seriously not loving me at all currently. After this is posted, I will go lather myself in aloe veras and just be a slime ball for the rest of the day.

Besides that, these are the few products that were on my face todayGlamour was not my top priority today.

Today's Make Up: Day At The Lake

FACE
Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunscreen with SPF 55
IPKN NY Hydro & Pore BB with SPF 35
NYX Stick Blush in Tulip

EYES
Maybelline 24HR Color Tattoo in Shady Shores

LIPS
Benefit Benetint

On my face, I mixed the Neutrogena Sunscreen and BB Cream to create a tinted moisturizer and applied it as I normally would with any face product, only today, I used my fingers. I didn't set it with a powder today like I normally would because.. it's kinda uselessHaha. I didn't contour nor highlight either. The water, sun and sweat would just melt and wash everything off. I did however, use a stick blush to bring some colors back to my face. The BB Cream kinda washed the life outta my face. I used a cream blush because those tend to stick around longer than powder ones.

I used my fingers to apply Shady Shores all over my lids. I used a pearly, bright gold shade to brighten up my eyes and the shimmer will catch the lightNo eyeliner, mascara or anything crazy like thatEven waterproof products will not work on me mid-Summer.

To give my lips some color, I used Benetint to stain my lips. This surprisingly stayed on until I got home. It lasted through me eating, drinking and swimming for about 6-7-ish hours.

I am exhausted and full, yet hungry... Hmm. Today was fun, got to be with the family, had fun with the cousins. Had our grub on. Much needed to release all that stress.

How do you relieve stress? Please share your method down below.

Thank you for visiting guys!!!! And thanks a bunches for reading. Come back soon!! Enjoy your weekend all.

Today's Make Up: BBQ/Pool Partaaay

Helloooo everyone! So we continue where we left off last week. Postponed BBQ is on today! The weather cannot be any more perfect for the season's first swim, a whopping 102 degrees! Here is a quick post with the few products that are on my face today.

Today's Make Up: BBQ/Pool Party

FACE
Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunscreen with SPF 55
ELF Studio Tinted Moisturizer (SPF 20) in Nude
geoGiRL Cream Blush in Eco Bronze
Sula Natural Lip & Cheek Tint in It's Not Me It's You
ELF Essential All Over Color Stick in Golden Peach

EYES
Maybelline 24HR Color Tattoo in Barely Beige
BH Cosmetics Party Girl Waterproof Gel Eyeliner Pencil in After Hours

LIPS
Chap Stick Ultra with SPF 30
Jordana Twist & Shine Moisturizing Balm Stain in Candied Coral

Instead of using my normal moisturizer, I used a  sunscreen with SPF 55. Must protect the skin, it'll thank you later in the future. I applied a tinted moisturizer on top of that to keep my skin hydrated but still even out my skin tone a bit. This tinted moisturizer is by no mean has any coverage, maybe a little where it can even out uneven skin pigmentation or redness. I find that cream products last longer than powder and stains. Powder is obviously not waterproof, but even stains, I didn't have much luck with them last Summer. So for bronzer, blush and highlight, I used cream products. I can really skip these steps, but I didn't want to look completely horrendous at the party.

brightened up my eyes by applying this cream shadow in my inner corner and lids. I usually would have stopped there, but since I'm itching to see if this gel pencil is actually waterproof. No mascara today, even waterproof formulas will smudge on me. I don't wanna be a Panda later.

I exfoliated my lips before applying this Chap Stick Ultra with SPF 30don't  neglect the lips, they need loving too! To have some sort of pop in color, I chose a bright coral balm stain. I chose Jordana out of all my other balm stains because I know for a fact this baby can stain.

That's pretty much it guys. My first swim of the season. If anyone else is going swimming today, tomorrow or in the near future, don't forget to wear sunscreen and reapply every half hour to an hourPlease stay safe around the water and don't forget to have fun! ;)

Okay, I'm out guys. Grubbin' and swimmin' time! See ya back here tomorrow for a (much needed) mask recipe. Thank you for visiting and thanks for reading. Bye! :)

Today's Make Up: Rain & Wind Proof

Today's Make Up: Rain & Wind Proof

Hey guys! Happy weekend!! :) I'm surprisingly having a good day.

Remember I mentioned yesterday that one of my uncle was throwing a BBQ and Pool Party and that it just soooo happens that there was a 40% chance of rain here in we-never-get-rain-Arizona?!...Well guess what guys! For the first time everArizona decides to follow the rule. Usually when the weather forecast predicts rain, the percentage will need to be in the 70% or 80% in order for that to happen, never as low as 40%. But surprisesurprise ArizonansRain. Actually woke up to the sound of rain which was nice. Even though the BBQ is canceled and I can no longer dive into the pool, I am not even angry. The weather is EXACTLY to my liking. Completely overcast, dark clouds as far as my eyes can see, breezy super windy, and raining. We're at 64 degrees today, have not had that since early January. This is my kind of weather.

So BBQ is canceled but we made other plans. Family dinner at the buffet again, Pacific Buffet. ;) Instead of pulling out my sunscreen today, I'm pulling out my waterproof make ups. Today's make up will be rain and wind proof....and very buffet appropriate.

Today's Make Up: Rain & Wind Proof Detail

FACE
Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro Primer 002
Hard Candy Glamoflauge Heavy Duty ConcealerL'Oreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB in Fair
ELF Studio Translucent Mattifying PowderNYC Smooth Skin Bronzer in SunnyCity Color Be Matte Blush in Pink Grapefruit
Hard Candy Baked Bronzer in Tiki

EYES
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Urban Decay Single Shadow in Sin
BH Cosmetics Party Girl Waterproof Gel Eyeliner Pencil  in Chase
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Strawberry Milk
Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil in Almost Famous
Covergirl Lash Blast Fusion Mascara (waterproof)

LIPS
Jordana Twist & Shine Moisturizing Balm in Sweet Pink

After moisturizing my face, I applied a primer to give a little boost for my face products. I chose to wear an American BB Cream rather than a foundation or Korean BB Cream because American BB Creams aren't as full coverage and therefore, more forgiving than the others. I wear the BB Cream to help even out my skin tone, and conceal small blemishes like dark spots or redness, but other blemishes will still be visible. If raindrops happen to fall on my face, it wouldn't make such a problem whereas if I wore a foundation, it might be visible where the rain hit me. A streak of running foundation dripping from the face is not appealing.  Does this make sense? So because I am wearing such a light coverage face product, I used a heavy duty concealer in its stead. I use powder to set like I always do. Because my face is lightly covered, I didn't want such define contours but I still used my NYC bronzer, just used it with a lighter hand. I used a nice pink blush for a little glow and highlight like always.

I kept my eye make up at a minimum. I don't want to wear something so elaborate or bright shades so when I walk outside and the raindrops falls on my face it sorta washes the shadow away. Yeah...I am avoiding that. I used one shadow, a light shimmery shade all over my lidsfading up to my crease a little, and inner corner. In this case, I use Urban Decay Sin, very gorgeous; give my eyes just the right amount of color, still brightening and sparkle sparkle when catches the light. I didn't use liquid or gel liner because I worry something might go wrong with them in rainy weathers, so I use my waterproof gel liner pencil instead, smudging it out a little for softer effect. I am in a pink mood today so I added a baby pink liner on my lower lash line. I used my NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Strawberry Milk to rim my entire lower lash line then used a nude eyeliner to rim my waterline to widen my eyes a bit. Curled them lashes and applied a trustworthy waterproof mascara.

It is such a dull, dark, colorless day. Even though this is how I like my weather, I must admit, it is quite boring. So to add some color to liven things up, I wore a fun, pretty color on my lips today. It's nothing too bold or over the top like red, or bright orange. I am still at a family gathering after all. Two factors for choosing a lip product today, nothing too shiny, too sticky, too tacky and must be long-wearing yet comfortable on the lips, preferably a lip stain or balm stain. I chose a pretty pink shade to  sort of have a tie-in with my pink liner on the lower lash line.

As for my hair, one, because it is super windy and two, I am going to a buffetain't no body got time to manage hair; it is thrown up in a biggo top bun. Now I can eat carefree and no wind can blow hair all over my face now. Although the wind does give my bun a windswept effect, that happens to be the Spring trend, it looks quite nice.

Well that's it guys. Gotta finish getting ready and start leaving. I'm gonna annihilate the buffet today. Grub on. :D

Thank you for visiting and thank you for reading. Have a good weekend all. See ya back tomorrow! :)
