Good Monday, good Monday! How are you all? Tis that time of week again, to celebrate Monday with Manicure Monday!!!
After having the same manicure for two weeks, I am just aching to have a new color on my nails...Well that and those new polishes I bought over the weekend are
staring at me. Although the dark teal was a gorgeous color, I think I'm kinda bored with dark colors. Since I wore Sinful Colors last time, I wanted to switch to Wet N Wild this week.
Of the eleven new polishes I bought, two are Wet N Wild, the rest are Sinful Colors spring releases. I greatly enjoy Wet N Wild Mega Last polishes. The formula is great, very opaque, no odor, long lasting, top coat not necessary, their slightly bigger brush, affordable prices and widely available. The only downfall is that they do not have a large color selection like other brands, but they do have a whole lot of limited edition collections come out left and right.
Speaking of limited edition, Wet N Wild released their Spring 2014 Limited Edition collection... I got two Mega Last nail polishes, Candid Affair and Sophisticated Lady to try out. If I like them, I might buy a few more, so we'll see.
I normally only do two coats, but these polishes require three because they are really sheer with one coat. That's not to say it's a bad thing. Sheer nails are in this Spring. These polishes are buildable so it's all good; you can opt for sheer or totally opaque.
Ooooh, I can't stop looking at my nails. The colors are gorgeous! I didn't use a top coat this time either. The polish itself has enough shine, but you can always put on a top coat if that's what makes you comfortable.
Hope you enjoyed this week's manicure. If you like these shades or want to check out their new limited edition, go do it right away! From what I'm hearing, they're flying off the shelves. I got mine at Walgreen, but I heard they're also available at CVS.
Thank you for reading guys. :)
