Today's Make Up: "Strawberry Milk" Flavored "Cotton Candy"

Hello Friday everyone!!!! How are you all doing?? Are we all recovered from the hectic Christmas day? LOL.

I am very blessed to have family that totally can read my mind. Haha. We all went out to dim sum this morning. Never gonna complain about having dim sum, especially with these crazy people I call family. :P Love them to bits and pieces... Even though they are so loud. Typical Asians.

After dim sum, we actually went post Christmas shopping and just wandered everywhere really. No matter doing what, I just love spending time with them. There seriously needs to be more holidays when everyone is off and can get together. Not enough, ever.

The makeup mess today includes a few old faves and some new products. I'll use this (not so) new mascara and let y'all know how it works on my thick and heavy lashes.

Nothing too special on the face, just products I normally use. Today's choice of blush is from Covergirl, called Plumberry Glow. It is a very pretty dusty rose shade, perfect for a chilly Winter day like today.

On the eyes, I am using the Adorable palette by NYX to create a simple natural eye look with the pink. A pop of pink on the lower lash line to balance out the eye and coat on the mascara. Like I mentioned before, this is my first time using this mascara so I cannot give my opinion on it just yet. However, I must say that my first impression of Maybelline Lash Sensational is already ahead in points.

On the lips, I needed something moisturizing, long wearing and pigmented to last throughout the dim sum brunch. I chose to go with the Lip Butter, an always trusted lip product. Shade I wore is called Cotton Candy, a pinkish shade that can match my cheeks and eyes.

I hope that everyone had a great Christmas and/or holiday break. No matter what you've all been doing, I truly hope that you're making memories. No amount of presents and gifts can measure up to spending quality times with loved ones. I urge that y'all go ahead and do that because in life, unexpected things happen all the time, they can be around one day and be gone the next. I never thought that last Christmas was the last Christmas I'll ever get to spend with my Grandma. First Christmas without her... just isn't the same. :( Cherish and make sure you let your loved ones know that.
