Manicure Monday: "Into the Blue" With You

I am definitely feeling the Monday blues today... Into the Blue that is, which are on my nails! :P No seriously though, anyone feeling blue? Because cheer up y'all, Mondays aren't the most favorite days of the week but it's just a day and we're already over it. So over it. :)
Manicure this week is blue because I had just received this gorgeous Nail Lacquer by Probelle in my January iPsy bag. Since I have no planned manicure for this week, this nail color came jussssssst in time.
This is by no mean a review... yet. I do hope that this manicure will last me until next, next week so I can give y'all a one week update. We shall see how well this nail color will fare on its own for a whole week. Testing out nail colors and trying out new brands is definitely a favorite past time of mine.
So let's see what we have here...

Probelle is one of those brands where I've seen dozens of time and keep coming across but have always looked passed it. I can't say that the shades does not appeal to me or the price is unreasonable because it's not. I just don't know why I have never picked at least one up to try. Well, this is exactly why I am subscribed to iPsy!
It was love at first sight with this shade. It is such a gorgeous blue, a shade I have yet to own by any brands.
So this nail lacquer is more on the thin, liquidy side, which I prefer more than the thick formulas. There is no special scent, just the normal nail lacquer smell.
I did two thick coat to achieve the strike free, full pigmentation manicure I have in the pics above. Coat one was a tad thinner and took about 5 to 7 minutes to dry. Coat two was thicker and took about 10 minutes to dry. The application was easy peasy because the formula is so thin that it just glided on from the brush to my nail.
After the nail color dried, it feels so smooth and glossy. As I've always done, I never apply a top coat when trying out a new nail color for the first time. The glossiness from the pics are all from the nail color itself.
That should be all for today. The Baby is waking up from her nap and it is time to feed her. Her Mom had just left to go back to Nebraska earlier so she is feeling especially fussy today, more so than ever. Poor thing.. :(
Y'all enjoy the rest of your day now. Thank you for visiting and thanks for reading. Please come back soon. :)
