July iPsy Bag: Sensationally Sunkissed

Hello everyone! Who else is doing a little 'thank goodness it's Friday dance"? No? Just me? Haha, really though, congrats everyone for making it to another Friday. What a long week its been.

Nothing new with me today, just at home prepping for tomorrow. Ya know, family gathering tomorrow and all the shopping's been done yesterday. It's just a chillaxing day today.

Before I get started though, I want to do this post that is a couple weeks overdue. My July iPsy bag arrived some weeks ago and I have yet did a post on it yet. Ya know what else I am behind on? My June iPsy Updates... I need to get on that next week. I apologize if anyone is actually waiting for that update. Sorrry!!!

But here it is today, July's bag, Sensationally Sunkissed. I received five products in my bag this month, one full size and the rest are either samples or travel sized.

bareMinerals 5-in-1 BB Advanced Performance Cream Eyeshadow Broad Spectrum SPF 15 in Divine Wine

image

I love this concept. Love bareMinerals, love cream shadows, love neutral shadows; my only worries is this shade might be a little too dark for me. I have not swatched nor tried it yet, but from the looks of it.
I hope that this shadow will be pigmented, lasts long and easy to apply and blend.

Befine Food Skin Care Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15
Is it bad that I've never heard of Befine? I think I need to do some research on this brand. Unlike the other four products, I have started using this since receiving it. I can't tell you guys exactly how it is yet, not now at least, but in a couple weeks I will. From what I can tell so far though, it does a great job keeping my face moisturize all day, no harsh smell, does not sting my face, and cannot control my oily skin.

Hang Ten Dark Tanning Oil with SPF 08I appreciate iPsy trying to throw in versitalities and throw in seasonal items, but this tanning oil isn't really useful to me. I have tried to tan all my life and never could. I gave that up two years ago. I've tried a lot of different brands and types of tanning oil, none worked on me so I doubt this will work either. Still, I'll give this a go to see if this will give me any results.

I do however, have hopes for this tanning oil. I received my first Hang Ten product in my bag some months ago. I really liked that sunscreen.

Pixi Beauty Mini Tinted Brilliance Balm in Unique Pink
Y'all know I am a huge lip junkie! I love it when I receive new lip products to try out.
Although I already adore the brand Pixi, I have yet to try out any of their lip products. This lip balm looks so freaken gorgeous. It looks like some pretty jelly. As pretty as it is, I hope it's too sheer. From the looks of it, I think it'll just show up sheer like any ordinary lip balm. I guess that's fine as long as it moisturizes my lips and keeps it from drying.

wHet Nail Polish in Facetious
Horray for new nail products! This shade looks super gorgeous, I mean just look at this blue. I've actually never heard of whet before, so I don't have any preference and unsure what to expect. Please expect this on my nails for next week's manicure.

Have you tried wHet before? If so, how do you feel about it? Let me know what to expect please.

I can't say I'm completely satisfied with my bag this month, I'd rather receive an Elizabeth Mott lip tint than a lip balm, a Pop Beauty Sunkissed Bronzer than a tanning oil or even the bareMinerals READY Eyeshadow 2.0 than this cream shadow.

But then again, I don't completely dislike everything. They also offered another Nailtini Nail Lacquer, although I like that color, I'm glad I got this wHet instead. It's a brand I have yet to try.

So there are the five products in my bag for July. What products are you interested in?

Thank you for visiting and thanks for reading all! Please come back soon. :)

ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND!

March iPsy Bag: Destination Beauty Update

March iPsy Bag: Destination Beauty

Oh my goodness, March kinda just flew by didn't it? I blame it on being sick also...that took away two weeks of mine. But anyways, here we go with March iPsy Bag update. I do apologize that it is a very late update, but it's barely April 2nd...so it 's forgiven??? :D

Last month's iPsy Bag is called Destination Beauty, very Spring and Spring Break related. So here goes...

bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in Get Ready
I have never used a bareMinerals lip product before, so going in to use this, I had no reference or expectations. I stated last time that this shade was a little too dark than what I normally wear. However, the shade came out a tad lighter than seen from the tube. It's much more pinkier than expected. The lipstick feels so nice on my lips, long-wearing yet still moisturizing. I haven't worn this lipstick long enough to be able to tell you anything. I will continue to wear this lipstick and do a later post about it From what I've experienced though, I really like it, but I don't know if it's worth $18... There are a few drugstore lipsticks for half that price with similar formula. But more on that later.

Be A Bombshell Eyeshadow Quad in Bora Bora
Can I please get a round of applause for this quad?! The shades are beautiful, the formula amazing, the quality awesome, it's also compact and travel-friendly. It is a quad, with four beautiful shade that can easily give you a smokey eye to a light daytime look and one bright color, perfect for Spring. I don't want to say much about this quad right now because I plan on doing a more in-dept post with swatches on a later post. I will say this though, I really like the texture and formula of these eyeshadows. It's very buttery and soft, easy to pick up on the brush, not as much fall outs and very pigmented. They are priced at $16 from their site, and I would buy another quad...but I'm already..fully stocked.

Pacifica Body Butter in Indian Coconut Nectar
This body butter kinda sneakily grew on me. I'm not so much in love with the formula as I am in love with the scent. My gosh...the scent is like "music to your nose". Hahaha. I've been using this body butter either right after exiting the shower or right before bed. I usually don't put on lotion during the day time, unless it's in the middle of summer or my skin really, really needs it...and it shows. It is doing a fine job keeping my skin super moisturized. It is fast absorbent and doesn't leave my skin greasy or sticky, which is a HUGE no-no for me. It also doesn't feel heavy on my skin, like most body butter does. Like I said, I have nothing but good things to say about this body butter; I'd definitely purchase another bottle once I use this one up. I see it sold at Target...I wanna say Walmart too, but I'm not entirely sure, but Target is 100%. If you're looking for an (above) average body butter and/or crazy about smelling super nice, then recommend this Indian Coconut Nectar body butter to you.

Nicole by OPI Roughles in On What Grounds?
Unfortunately I have not gotten around to use this polish yet. So I am unable to give you an in-depth review and opinion besides the fact I really, truly love this shade. I also like the fact that it is textured, very different from my other polishes. I will indeed get around to this very soon, so please look forward to a Manicure Monday post soon.

And that concludes the updates for March iPsy Bag. Hope you enjoyed it. I will definitely do a more in-depth post regarding the bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie and Be A Bombshell Eyeshadow Quad, so look out for that.

Thank you for visiting and thanks for reading. :)

March iPsy Bag: Destination Beauty

March iPsy Bag: Destination Beauty
Hello, hello there! I am feeling much, much better today. I can breathe through my nose!! Thank goodness. To further make my day better, my March iPsy bag came in the mail. Gahhhh! Loving what I see already. This month's theme is Spring/Spring Break related, called Destination Beauty. Love it!
March iPsy Bag: Destination Beauty 2
In this month's bag:
bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in Get Ready (Deluxe Sample)
Nicole by OPI Roughles in On What Grounds? (Full Size)
Be A Bombshell Eyeshadow Quad in Bora Bora (Full Size)
Pacifica Body Butter in Indian Coconut Nectar (Full Size)
I first heard about Be A Bombshell from iPsy when it was included in one of my bag early on. I forget what exactly what that fateful first product was, but I remembered I loved it. Within the 28 iPsy bags I have received, I know own about five or six Be A Bombshell products. I can honestly say that this brand has never disappointed me, whether it's blush, liquid eyeliner or even lip gloss. That's saying a lot. My heart literally skipped a beat when I saw the Bora Bora Quad. I really hope the quality is as great as how beautiful it looks. Cannot wait to try them.
bareMinerals has a special place in my heart, it was the first brand of make up I was ever gifted. It was looong ago, but I still have them, for the sake of the memories. Since then, I have bought and own a couple of their products. I don't really use them as much anymore, mainly cause I keep forgetting about them. But ya know what? Natural face is the Spring trend, I think I'll pull them out and use them again. Perfect! As for their lip products, I have never tried them out even though I've heard good things about them. I'm actually excited to use this cute sample. The shade is a little dark from what I usually wear, but it'll fun.
Love nail polishes! I will take any nail polish iPsy will throw at me, whether new brands or brands I already adore to pieces. Thank goodness they chose to throw at me Nicole By OPI this time. I'm getting mixed reviews about this Roughles (Ruffles) though, but nothing beats trying it out for yourself. I'm all about experimenting and I've been obsessing over textures lately. Plus, the color is G.O.R.G.eous, definitely perfect for Spring. Win-Win-Win situation if you ask me.
Pacifica, I can't say I am deeply in love with this brand, but I don't hate it. It's just another body butter to me, nothing special to rave over. I really love the scents though, this Indian Coconut Nectar especially smells sooo much like summer. Like, I just wanna grab my swimsuit and dive into the pool already. I guess I can put this to good use once the weather starts warming up a bit more and it's officially swimming season. Soaking in chlorine all day really calls for deep moisturization.
I finally did a iPsy bag update post for last month! I remembered. Like last month, I will do an update for this month also, so be on the lookout.
As always, thank you for stopping by the blog and thanks for reading. :)
