Gooooood Tuesday everyone! Hope you're all having a fine, jolly day.
Today's post is all about the Be A BombshellEyeshadow Quad in Bora Bora, which I had receive in my March iPsy Bag. I also mentioned in my March iPsy Bag Update that I was going to dedicate a whole post for this product because it deserves it. So here goes.
This is an Eyeshadow Quad called Bora Bora from Be A Bombshell. It consists of four shimmery eyeshadows; all four shades very different from each other.
My initial reaction as soon as I saw this quad was "Oh my gosh, that blue-ish shadow is gorgeous!" And I was right to think so, that shadow is called Bora Bora, also what the whole quad is titled. Meaning it is the main star while the other three are just supporting shadows. I didn't get around to use it maybe after a week or so. I was deathly sick and wearing bold shadows was not worth the effort put forth. Anyways, when I did use it, I was in a series of mixed emotions...? I've used others Be A Bombshell products before and they're all hits for the most part. I went in having high hopes for this quad, but I was also bracing myself if it didn't live up to my expectation.
Hellllo all! It's finally Thursday!! Although I desperately want time to slow down a bit, I really need it to be weekend. But can it just stay at weekend and not move on? Ugh...
Today, I bring you another Throwback Post, this time it's an Eyeshadow special. Check them out below if you haven't and if you have already, which ones are your favorites?I'm thinking about doing more posts like these, for other eyeshadows. What do you think?
Thank you for visiting and thanks for reading. Please come back soon! :)

WISHING THE NEW BYUNTAE/BAEKYEON COUPLE A HAPPY, BRIGHT FUTURE!!
Never think anything is impossible! Regardless to what other fans might say, I, 100% support Taeyeon and Baekhyun. Look at them, they're soo happy!Idols bring us joy, happiness, entertainment, the least we could wish for them is their own happiness. I don't understand how some "fans" can say they feel "betrayed" and go harassTaeyeon or Baekhyun as if they're an ex who just got dumped. No...Idols and fans are in twodifferent worlds. We idolize them but they don't even know we exist, we're just another screaming fan to them. Idols already sacrificed so much to be where they are today, so if there's anything we can do (or NOT do) to ease their pain, why not? We don't want them to one by one leave the entertainment industry because they're sick of it...JUST LET THEM BE!
On another note, GO TAEYEON!!!!Noona-Dongsaeng Relationship FTW!!!!!!!Age is but a number... And jail is but a room...yeah, yeah, yeah. This is different, three years is nothing!
Gooooood Tuesday everyone! Hope you're all having a fine, jolly day.

As soon as I dipped my flat brush into Risky Business and I was honestly surprised how creamy and easy it was to pick up. I packed the shadow onto my lids and inner corner and I couldn't believe it... The gold was actually gold on my lids too. The more you pack, the golder it is. Obviously in the inner corner, I didn't pack it on but used it very lightly and sheered it out. Next up, I used Starlet on my outer V and crease, it was a super pretty bronze, dark enough to give me depth yet not too dark that it looks muddy. Does that make sense? I was super excited to use Bora Bora, so I pop that on my lids for a pop. It's such a vibrant color. Lastly, I took Rock Bottom and blended it out in my crease where Starlet was to warm the look up a bit.
I've worn the quad using all four of the shadows, used three, even two. You can easily create many looks with just these four shades. I especially like how these shades are buildable. Use with a light hand and it'll give you a fresh day look, use it with a heavy hand and that will give you a sexy night look, not to mention the bright shade can create a vibrant Spring look. I mentioned in the update post that this is travel friendly, I still stand by that. The quad itself is very compact and takes up little to no room. Pop this into your make up bag and it'll give you nude, smokey or bright eyes.
I am mostly in love with the formula. When I swatched them, my fingers felt as if they were being dipped into a tub of butter. I mean, it is crazy how soft and creamy they are. They're so creamy you can probably use your fingers to apply and blend, no brushes needed. There are also more fall outs than I would like, but it's nothing excessive. All in all, it certainly is not the best formula I've tried, that would be going too far. But it definitely is far, far from the worst I've tried. I'll just say these shadows are a bar above average. But for $16, you would expect this much. That's a little pricey in my opinion.
The bottom line is, I do not recommend this to anyone new/ just getting started with make up or anyone on a budget. I feel like there are countless other products out there cheaper than $16 and the formula is on the same level, if not better. Might I recommend looking into Wet N Wild trios and the eyeshadows in general. However, I do recommend this to anyone looking for a versatile quad that can easily give you different looks that is very compact, easy to apply. It definitely isn't a must have quad to add to your collection, but it's also nice to have on hand. Of course, if you think that this quad is a must have, feel free to purchase it here.
Thank you for visiting and thanks for reading! :)
P.S.As I was going through my blog last night, I realized that I am very bad at covering the products I got from the hauls, going into details and overall lacking in many, many places. I sincerely apologize for my lack of experience in blogging and what not, I will try my best to do better. Please be patient and look forward to the progress. I would like to take the time to especially thank everyone who became followers even during the time of lack of experience and thank those who regularly visit the blog. Thank you.
It has been two great years since these 12 amazing, beautiful boys came into our lives and brought music to our ears. "We are one!" isn't just a greeting because I honestly do hope they remain as 12 and promote as 12. This is honestly a very touchy subject because everyone has their own opinions. But for me, personally, I love seeing the 12 of them together, I absolutely love seeing the 12 of them interact and bond. It hurts to see them separate six and six and miles apart. How is HunHan suppose to deal?! What is Tao gonna do without his Mama?? The horrors... oh the horrors. "We are one", yes, please remain and stay as ONE.
Oh my goodness, March kinda just flew by didn't it? I blame it on being sick also...that took away two weeks of mine. But anyways, here we go with March iPsy Bag update. I do apologize that it is a very late update, but it's barely April 2nd...so it 's forgiven??? :D
Last month's iPsy Bag is called Destination Beauty, very Spring and Spring Break related. So here goes...
bareMineralsMarvelous Moxie Lipstick in Get Ready I have never used a bareMinerals lip product before, so going in to use this, I had no reference or expectations. I stated last time that this shade was a little too dark than what I normally wear. However, the shade came out a tad lighter than seen from the tube. It's much more pinkier than expected. The lipstick feels so nice on my lips, long-wearing yet still moisturizing. I haven't worn this lipstick long enough to be able to tell you anything. I will continue to wear this lipstick and do a later post about it From what I've experienced though, I really like it, but I don't know if it's worth $18... There are a few drugstore lipsticks for half that price with similar formula. But more on that later.
Be A BombshellEyeshadow Quad in Bora Bora Can I please get a round of applause for this quad?! The shades are beautiful, the formula amazing, the quality awesome, it's also compact and travel-friendly. It is a quad, with four beautiful shade that can easily give you a smokey eye to a light daytime look and one bright color, perfect for Spring. I don't want to say much about this quad right now because I plan on doing a more in-dept post with swatches on a later post. I will say this though, I really like the texture and formula of these eyeshadows. It's very buttery and soft, easy to pick up on the brush, not as much fall outs and very pigmented. They are priced at $16 from their site, and I would buy another quad...but I'm already..fully stocked.
PacificaBody Butter in Indian Coconut Nectar This body butter kinda sneakily grew on me. I'm not so much in love with the formula as I am in love with the scent. My gosh...the scent is like "music to your nose". Hahaha. I've been using this body butter either right after exiting the shower or right before bed. I usually don't put on lotion during the day time, unless it's in the middle of summer or my skin really, really needs it...and it shows. It is doing a fine job keeping my skin super moisturized. It is fast absorbent and doesn't leave my skin greasy or sticky, which is a HUGE no-no for me. It also doesn't feel heavy on my skin, like most body butter does. Like I said, I have nothing but good things to say about this body butter; I'd definitely purchase another bottle once I use this one up. I see it sold at Target...I wanna say Walmart too, but I'm not entirely sure, but Target is 100%. If you're looking for an (above) average body butter and/or crazy about smelling super nice, then I recommend this Indian Coconut Nectar body butter to you.
Nicole by OPIRoughles in On What Grounds? Unfortunately I have not gotten around to use this polish yet. So I am unable to give you an in-depth review and opinion besides the fact I really, truly love this shade. I also like the fact that it is textured, very different from my other polishes. I will indeed get around to this very soon, so please look forward to a Manicure Monday post soon.
And that concludes the updates for March iPsy Bag. Hope you enjoyed it. I will definitely do a more in-depth post regarding the bareMineralsMarvelous Moxie and Be A BombshellEyeshadow Quad, so look out for that.
Hello, hello there! I am feeling much, much better today. I can breathe through my nose!! Thank goodness. To further make my day better, my March iPsy bag came in the mail. Gahhhh! Loving what I see already. This month's theme is Spring/Spring Break related, called Destination Beauty. Love it!
In this month's bag: bareMineralsMarvelous Moxie Lipstick in Get Ready (Deluxe Sample) Nicole by OPIRoughles in On What Grounds? (Full Size) Be A BombshellEyeshadow Quad in Bora Bora (Full Size) PacificaBody Butter in Indian Coconut Nectar (Full Size)
I first heard about Be A Bombshell from iPsy when it was included in one of my bag early on. I forget what exactly what that fateful first product was, but I remembered I loved it. Within the 28 iPsy bags I have received, I know own about five or six Be A Bombshell products. I can honestly say that this brand has never disappointed me, whether it's blush, liquid eyeliner or even lip gloss. That's saying a lot. My heart literallyskipped a beat when I saw the Bora Bora Quad. I really hope the quality is as great as how beautiful it looks. Cannot wait to try them.
bareMinerals has a special place in my heart, it was the first brand of make up I was ever gifted. It was looong ago, but I still have them, for the sake of the memories. Since then, I have bought and own a couple of their products. I don't really use them as much anymore, mainly cause I keep forgetting about them. But ya know what? Natural face is the Spring trend, I think I'll pull them out and use them again. Perfect! As for their lip products, I have never tried them out even though I've heard good things about them. I'm actually excited to use this cute sample. The shade is a little dark from what I usually wear, but it'll fun.
Love nail polishes! I will take any nail polish iPsy will throw at me, whether new brands or brands I already adore to pieces. Thank goodness they chose to throw at me Nicole By OPI this time. I'm getting mixed reviews about this Roughles (Ruffles) though, but nothing beats trying it out for yourself. I'm all about experimenting and I've been obsessing over textures lately. Plus, the color is G.O.R.G.eous, definitely perfect for Spring. Win-Win-Win situation if you ask me.
Pacifica, I can't say I am deeply in love with this brand, but I don't hate it. It's just another body butter to me, nothing special to rave over. I really love the scents though, this Indian Coconut Nectar especially smells sooo much like summer. Like, I just wanna grab my swimsuit and dive into the pool already. I guess I can put this to good use once the weather starts warming up a bit more and it's officially swimming season. Soaking in chlorine all day really calls for deep moisturization.
I finally did a iPsy bag update post for last month! I remembered. Like last month, I will do an update for this month also, so be on the lookout.
As always, thank you for stopping by the blog and thanks for reading. :)
