Today's Make Up: Errand-Running Casual Friday

Yay! Happy Friday everyone! I was a busy bee today, running all over with errands. The weather was gorgeous today. Actually, it was gorgeous all week here in Arizona, but I saw on the news that most of the states aren't as lucky. I hope you are all doing well! Keep warm guys and please be careful.

For today's make up, I wanted to go for the "natural-no-make-up" make up. It's been a while since I pulled out my Skin79 BB Cream. The thing with Skin79 is that it is a Korean brand, marketed only in Korea so it only has one shade. It has a dewy finish, to look more natural. Asian BB Creams aren't as thick as the ones we have in the U.S., it is more liquidy but it has a medium coverage. On days when I sleet well, I don't even need concealers for my dark circles. I really like this BB Cream, but I turn into a grease ball if I wear it during the summer. So this Skin79 BB Cream is strictly a Winter type product for me. What better powder to set my BB Cream in place than a Nearly Naked powder. With a light dust, the powder doesn't take away the dewy finish the BB Cream gave.

When I think of natural, no make up type of make up, I automatically think of K-Pop idols. If you know what I'm talking about, yay! Let's be friends. If not, they're known for their light, natural make up with strong, winged liner and gradient popsicle lips. The contours are done very lightly, so when I attempted this look, I used my ELF bronzer instead of my NYC. It gives a more softer look with subtle glow.

Since I subtly contoured, I cannot skip on the highlight. Highlight where the sun naturally hits your face, like your forehead, cheekbones, chin and bridge of your nose. Never, never, ever skip the highlight. It prevents your face from looking flat and makes your face more lively. You know what else makes you look lively? Blush. In my case, I used a pink blush that also has a glow to it. You can also opt for a matte blush, but I wanted everything to glow. But do be careful, you do not want to over-glow, it'll make you look oily instead.

Since I was going for natural, I didn't want to use any eye shadow. Cue the Maybelline Color Tattoos. I used a beautiful metallic pink to brighten up my eyes but still have a bit of color to it. You can use an eye shadow primer like I usually do, but I have never have any problem with the Color Tattoos creasing on me. Because I will not be wearing false eyelashes, I used my favorite gel liner to tightline my upper waterline. You'll be surprised how much thicker your lashes will look by doing this. This along with the Almay Get Up & Grow mascara, it will look like you're wearing demi lashes. You can also use the gel liner on your lash line also for a softer look, but I like my wing bold so I used my liquid liner to achieve that. Lastly, I wanted to wake up my eyes and enhance my "eye smile" by applying a beige liner under my lower lash line.

I want to be casual and low maintenance while moving about, I didn't want to wear any lipstick or glosses. I needed my lips to stay hydrated all day without having to reapplying. Thank goodness NYX came out with this wonderful Butter Lip Balm. I chose the lightest pink which pulled my look together beautifully.

I also shared what scent I wore today also, which happens to be a Bath & Body Works  fragrance spray.  Pink Sugarplum is really sweet and kept me happy for the duration of the day.
