Today's Make Up: Mint Chocolate

Heeeey guuys! It is Wednesday yet again which means the week is almost over.
Too soon, too soon...

Wednesdays are usually my busy day. Most of my Grandmother's doctor appointments are made for Wednesday so I've been out and and about since early this morning. It's been a long day and I'm not even done yet. So with the 40 minutes of spare time, I have a bit of time to blog about my makeup today.

Here goes!

Today's Make Up: Mint Chocolate

FACE
Sonia Kashuk Concealer Palette in Hidden Agenda
Skin79 Super+ BB Triple Functions
Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in Sandstorm
ELF Studio Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder in Blushed/Bronzed
Hard Candy Baked Bronzer in Tiki

EYES
ELF Eyelid Primer
Wet N Wild Color Icon Trio in I Dream of Greenie
Wet N Wild Color Icon 5-Pan in The Naked Truth
L'Oreal 24H Infallible Lacquer Liner in Blackest Black
Rimmel Scandal Eyes in Nude
Covergirl Lash Blast Fusion Mascara in Very Black

LIPS
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Pink In The Afternoon
NYX Xtreme Lip Cream in Nude Peach Fuzz

After exfoliating and applied moisturizer, I used Hidden Agenda to conceal my under eyes, acne scars and redness on my cheeks and around my nose. With a damp sponge, I applied the BB Cream evenly. I used Stay Matte Pressed Powder to set everything, this extra step will help control the excess oil on my t-zone. I used Bronzed to contour and Blushed on the apples of my cheeks. I used Tiki to lightly highlight the bridge of my nose, cheek bone, forehead and chin.

Today's Make Up: Mint Chocolate - Wet N Wild

I started off by priming my eyes with an affordable but reliable primerI honestly don't know how many tubes of this I went through already. From I Dream Of Greenie, I used browbone on my browbone and inner corner. Then I packed crease all over my lids once. I packed more of the crease from the inner corner to a third way out. Then I switched over to The Naked Truth; using eyelid, I packed that from mid-lid to the outer corner. I took definer to my outer V and used crease to top that off and pulling it inwardblending it on my crease and even pulling it slightly higher. This part actually took some time because I want the green and brown to even out and blend together as mint chocolate would. So at this point, I'm just adding green, adding brown and buffing and blending until satisfaction. I want my eyes to look soft so I used a gel liner to line my upper lash line and what was left on the brush, I used to tightline my upper waterline. When I lined my upper lash lineinstead of flicking the end up, I just extended it out, so now, connecting from that extension, I started lining my lower lash line and worked my way instopping 2/3 way in. I went back to the outer corner to thicken it a littleThe only reason why I'm using a black is because I ran out of brown, I would normally used brown for any looks I wish to "soften" up. With Nude, I used it to rim my entire lower water line to open up my eyes. This is optional, but I took a pencil brush, dipped it in the definer and went over the gel liner on the outer corners or my lower and upper lash line. With a detailed brush, I used the light green I used earlier for my inner corner to extend that 1/3 way out on the lower lash line.  Last but not least, I curled and coated my lashes in mascara.

To complete the look, I opt for nude lips today since I want my eyes to be the main attraction. Pink In The Afternoon is a mauvey pink, your lip but better shade and I topped that off with Nude Peach Fuzz. Sometimes, simple is best.

Since I was in and out of the sun constantly, I misted Avene Thermal Spring Water before I left the house to lock in the hydration and somewhat sets my makeup.

Thank you for visiting and thanks for reading guys. Please come back soon! :)
