So I apologize that today's post will not have new materials but rather a compilation of throwback posts. I was contemplating which posts to throwback on and I have decided on Inspired Makeups. Looking through my posts, I have a total of seven inspired makeup posts, most of them K-Pop inspired.

I hope ya'll will check these posts out and hopefully you'll enjoy them. New materials will be back tomorrow so please come back soon.

As always, thank you for visiting and thanks for reading. :)

Today's Make Up: NS Yoon-G "Yasisi" Inspired Makeup 2

Today's Make up: NS Yoon-G Inspired Makeup 2

Hello all! Do you know what day it is?! It's Friday!!!!! Yay! Jump for joy the weekend has come. So how are ya'll today? :D

Do you remember a makeup inspired post last week? Yeah? Good, because here comes part twoNS Yoon-G dropped a 19+ MV last night, Yasisi sexy version. ;) (This is actually the original version, but the Korean regulations are fairly strict so they made another MV where they cut out the "sexy" part to make a new less sexy MV which was rated with a 15+.) But anyways, seeing her make up excited me all over again. I decided to go for the slightly darker look today. I actually don't know if darker is even the word to describe it because the inspired look last time was innocentangelic-like. There ya go! This time, the inspired look is bolderslightly sexier, a sultryalluring look. That's it.

Going for this today.

Today's Make up: NS Yoon-G Inspired Makeup 2 Detailed

Similar to last week, the face is kept at a bare minimum of naturalness yet needs to be radiant and glowing. I started off priming my face with Pixi Flawless & Poreless, a beautiful masterpiece requires a clean, smooth canvas to work on. Then I took the lighter concealer shade under my eyes, orbital bone, cheek bone, bridge of nose, chin and forehead to conceal and highlight while the dark shade is used only as a concealer around my nose, mouth and any other problematic areas. Because the foundation I will use has very light coverage, I made sure to conceal the redness, dark spots and skin discoloration really well. Speaking of foundation, I used L'Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder to give me that natural finish. This foundation sets to a powdery finish so it was not necessary to set it with a pressed powder, but I did set my T-zone and other areas I know oil will seep out. To give me that radiant glow, I used Hard Candy Glow All The Way in a less-than pea sized amount. Next comes the bronzer to contour and shape the face. I lightly dust this beautiful light pink blush on the apples of my cheeks and pulled it back. Remember, subtle is key.

I normally wear a primers unless I'm using  Color Tattoos as a base, but this time, I'm actually testing out the Smudge Pots, so I'm using that as a base instead. Anyway, her eye look is basically just a winged liner that is slightly curved. I didn't want my eyes to be completely flat, so I applied a pinkish-beige shade called Ain't That Sweet all over my lids. Then I used the lightest shade from my Sonia Kashuk palette, the whole palette is matte shadows, and put that in the corner of my eye to brighten it up and also took that under my brows to highlight. Her winged liner doesn't look harsh whatsoever, it doesn't even look sharp either so I used a creamy eye pencil instead of my favorite liquid and gel liners today. Immediately after applying, smudged it out a little, set it with the black shadow from the palette. Because the eyes are so top heavy, I rimmed my lower waterline in a champagne shade liner to open up my eyes for balance. Curl them lashes and pop on the mascara, top and bottom. Don't neglect the bottom lashes. Eyes are done!

Dry, cracked lips are not attractive, so don't forget to scrub and exfoliate them kissers before applying lip products. It'll just make your lip wearing experience oh-so more pleasant. After exfoliating with a soft bristle toothbrush and cocoa butter Vaseline, I applied lip balm. I took the balm stain and applied it to the inner lips, top and bottom. Then I took the beautiful magenta lipstick and applied it on top of the balm stain and a little further out, not applying it on the full lips. I took my finger and started dabbing my lips, starting with the inner lips and work my way outward, this gave me an ombre effect that she has going on.

And this was how I wore my make up today. She has two other look from the MV, one with the red ombre lips and straight winged liner and the other a no makeup-makeup look. I have a slight feeling I might attempt both of them. Never worry, it's always a share, share if I do.

I had fun doing this post, I hope you also enjoyed reading it. Thank you for visiting and thanks a bunches for reading. :)

Today's Make Up: NS Yoon-G "Yasisi" Inspired Makeup

"It's sexual, it's sexual"
Helllllllo Tuesday all! Hope your day has been well. I am having a terrific day;
it's been a while.

About today's post, I am suuuuuper, duuuuper, uppppppber excited to share!!!!!!!!!! One of my adored K-Pop soloist dropped her MV last night, and it was really love at first sight for me, her make up. Oh my gosh....oh my gosh. Her make up was so on par, it was magnificent, it inspired me. I had to recreate her make up look today.

She had three, at most four different make up looks in the whole MV. I must say, I loved every single look she sported, I was in awed every single frame she was in.

Inspired look for today.

Gosh she is gorgeousEpitome of a sexy, confident goddess. Anyways, here we go, what I used to try to recreate her make up look.

What better way to get that "natural" skin look from a K-Pop MV than to use a Korean brand makeup? I keep forgetting to use my Skin79 BB Cream when the weather is still pleasant out because once the temperature reaches the 90 or 100, I most likely will not be able to use it. I love the dewiness this BB Cream gives my skin.

I'd like to clarify before hand that I'm not claiming this is how to get the exact look. This is how I interpret her looks, this is how I see it and what I see as the key factors. That's the beauty of makeup, anyone can be inspired and interpret it in their very own way.

Like Yoon-G's face, I also kept mine very "natural", meaning everything - foundation, bronzer and blush - are kept very minimal. This BB Cream has very light coverage but very buildable. However, I did not want to cake on the cream, that would look very heavy and unnatural. I used a very moisturizing, full coverage concealer so I was able to use only one thin layer of the BB Cream. I chose a mousse bronzer because they are easy to blend, thus not having that harsh contour visible with powder bronzers. I also opted for a subtle, light pink blush. Korean artists almost always sport the barely there blush or a very subtle pink one. This baked blush gives my cheeks the right amount of color so my face won't look sickly. From how I see it, having a "natural" face can make your face look very flat. But thank goodness there are highlights. Don't go over board with it but only use it where the sun naturally hits your face.

The eyes, once again are the focal point here. With the face looking so natural, Yoon-G brought the attention to her eyes with intense winged liner. In this particular look I'm basing my look from, her winged liner is kept clean, not smoked out like one of her other looks. I did use a pearly beige as a base shadow, to wake up my eyes. I also used a gel liner instead of a liquid liner because I wanted a softer look; liquid liner would have been too harsh, I think. The eyes as a whole are kept very alert and clean with light shadow on the lower lash line and inner corner with a soft winged liner.

Popsicle stained lips or ombre lips have been my favorite lip trend. Super happy she sported all shades of them in the MV. The look I'm going for she actually used a lilac shade, which is what I used. I used a nude lip pencil to nude out my lips, then blotted the shine away. Then I took the lilac lip pencil and filled in my inner lips and pressed my lips together. This can cause your lips to look super dry so be sure to put on a moisturizing lip balm before you apply any lip color.

That was super fun! She still has three other looks that I might even try to recreate sometime this week if not next.

I really appreciate each and every one of your visits and reads from both followers and non-followers. I hope it has been an enjoyable read for ya'll and I will continue to work hard to bring your more exciting posts. Thank you so much! :)
