Today's Make Up: Memorial Day BBQ

Hello all! How are you all doing on this glorious Sunday... that is now "Saturday" ?! Here we go with the second of our three-day weekend.

We're having a BBQ later today so I don't have much time before we leave. It is currently 11:35 right now, I already have my makeup done and we're leaving around noon. But of course, I cannot not leave a post for ya'll today so here we go!

Today's Make Up: Memorial Day BBQ

FACE
Hang Ten Classic Sport SPF50 (not pictured)
IPKN NY Hydro & Pore BB with SPF35
Revlon Nearly Naked Pressed Powder in Fair
Maybelline Dream Mousse Bronzer in Sun Glow
ELF HD Blush in Diva
ELF Shimmering Facial Whip in Spotlight

EYES
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Maybelline 24HR Color Tattoo in Barely Beige & Blue Paradise
BH Cosmetics Waterproof Eye Crayon in Sapphire
BH Cosmetics Party Girl Waterproof Gel Eyeliner Pencil in Wish
Maybelline The Mega Plush Volumizing Express Mascara (waterproof)

LIPS
Benefit Benetint
Maybelline Baby Lips in Peach Kiss

Avene Thermal Spring Water (not pictured)

I started off by applying Hang Ten Classic Sport with SPF50 as a moisturizer today. After that dried, which takes no more than 30 seconds, I used a damp beauty blender to apply my Hydro & Pore BB Cream and set with a lightweight pressed powder. With a small stippling brush, I stippled and blended the Dream Mousse Bronzer to contour. I pumped a TEENY, TINY bit of HD Blush onto the back of my hand and used the stippling brush to stipple the blush on my face then using the beauty blender is soften it out. With no more than a pea sized amount on my finger, I dotted my forehead, cheekbones and chin with it then blended it. What was left on my fingers, I used on the bridge of my nose.

prepped my eyes by applying a primer to keep my eye makeup in place all day. With clean fingers, I applied Barely Beige to the inner corner of my eyes and browboneblending with the finger as well. With another clean finger, I picked up Blue Paradise and packed that all over my lidsconcentrating towards the outer corner. I kept packing until I was satisfied with the color intensity. With the Waterproof Gel Liner, I thinly lined my upper lash line. It would have been fine like that, but I used a smudger brush to blend out the liner and softly winged it out a bit. With the Waterproof Eye Crayon, I took that to my lower lash line, starting from the outer cornerconnecting the feathered out wing from the upper lash line and working my way towards mid eye.  I did not go in with a brush to soften it up, I left it as is. I then curled my lashes and applied a waterproof mascara.

After scrubbing my lips and moisturized my lips with a hydrating lip balm, I dotted the inner part of my lips with Benetint. After it's bled out and dried, I reapplied it and wait for it to dry again before applying the Baby LipsLow maintenance lips today!

Since I'll be spending most of the day outside, I want to give my skin a little moisturizing boost, which I misted my face with Thermal Spring Water.

So that's it guys. I gotta go help pack and bring things out to the car to leave soon.  I hope you'll all have a great weekend and wonderful dayHave fun guys and don't forget, no matter what you do, please be careful and take care. I'll see you back here tomorrow for a Manicure Monday post. Thank you for visiting and thanks for reading guys! Byeeee!! :)

Today's Make Up: Jun Hyosung/Hyoseong "Good Night Kiss" Inspired Makeup

Helllllo everybody and happy Friday!!!!!!!!!!!! Here is another K-Pop inspired makeup look today. Like how I was obsessed with NS Yoon-G last month, I am obsessing over Secret's Hyosung/Hyoseong this month. Ahhhhh, she's such a beautiful woman as is but her makeup from her MV...just WOW!

Got to love her Gummy Smile.

Out of all the looks she sported in the MV, I will be recreating this one here. I will eventually get to the rest of her looks within the next few days. The whole look is almost identical with the exception of her under eye liner and lips. I'll try to share with ya'll when and if I do recreate her other looks.

I just love how Koreans' makeup their face. It's like FLAWLESS and so velvety... I've actually been sporting this type of face makeup almost on a daily basis. Although it looks effortlessly, it is anything but. It actually takes a whole lot of steps and very time consuming. This Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly BB Cream sure makes life a whole lot easier though.

To rid my skin of dead skin and dullness by using dr, brandt Microdermabrasion. Then I pat, pat, pat on my moisturizer and let that dry before applying an illuminating primer. This primes my face whilst giving it an illuminating glow that "comes from within". Next, I used Brightening Peach to eliminate my dark circles. Just a dab of product and that will do the job. I used Amazing Concealer elsewhere on my face to conceal the pesky blemishes. Then, using a beauty blender, I started dabbing the BB Cream onto my face. Do not rush and just take your time dabbing bit by bit. This BB Cream has a full coverage but very lightweight because it is waterbase. It claims that it'll give your skin a bounciness, which I do see. I like, I like. Hyosung's face is really matte so to mattify mine, I used Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder to set. Because her face is already small and gorgeous, she doesn't need much contour and sculpting but I do... I used a very light matte bronzer to do so. Even though the bronzer compact I am using has a shimmer side, I only swirled my brush on the matte side. I can barely see blush on her face, but I'm gonna go ahead and use a very natural tone blush just to give my face a little color. I am loving these ELF Mineral Blush! Even though the makeup is matte, highlight is always a must. I used a matte...er...seemingly matte highlight to bring dimension to my face. And viola, face is done.

looooove her eye makeup. Eyes and lips are probably the two factor that grabs me the most. I love me some gorgeous eyes and beautiful lips. I start off my priming my eyes, I used a pearly primer because I will not be using much eyeshadows, so that serves as an eye brightener. I took a flat eyeshadow brush and took Iced Latte to my browbone, inner corner and all over the lids. Then I took a fluffy brush to soften the browbone and inner corner. Using my Velvet Glide-On Eye Pencil, I lined my upper lash line. Then taking an angled brush, I started smudging the liner to soften it. It's totally optional, but you can also use a black shadow to set the eyeliner; I didn't because this liner will NOT budge on me at all. When it comes to the outer cornerdo not flick it up or wing it, basically just extend from your upper lash line. What's left on the brush, I used that to tightline my upper and lower waterline. Also extend the liner from the lower waterline, so it's parallel to the top extension. The bottom extension should be relatively shorter then the top. Then with my Waterproof Eye Crayon in a purple shade called Iris, I concentrate that to the outer corner of  my lower lash line. With a smudger brush, I smudged the shadow and pulled it inward so it lines my lower lash line. So if you got it right, it should be super light in the inner corner and gets gradually darker as we get out to the outer corner. We're not done yet because I then took a NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in a pearly purple shade, Oyster, to my inner corner and 1/3 of the lower lash linelining under the darker purple. We're almost finished, just curl the lashes and coat them in mascaratop and bottomDone!

For her lips, I actually went for the one similar to the first GIF, it has more color and I like that better. After I gave my lips a nice exfoliating scrub, I applied a pinkish lip balm to give me a base all the while keeping my lips hydrated. I took my Etude House Rosy Tint Lips and applied that to my inner lips, top and bottom. The little spongy tip makes it so much easier to dab the product onto the lips. I kept the color in the inner area, not letting it spread out too much. Then I took my sheer Ulta Lipstick and applied that all over my outer lips.

Thank you for visiting and thanks for reading all! :)
